Our Founder, Rebecca Khettry-Clay, M.A., L.D.T.C., B.C.B.A. is presently serving as our Executive Director and also as one of our Board Certified Behavior Consultants (BCBA).
Rebecca is a special educator with over 37 years of experience in the area of special education. She is a Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a New Jersey Certified Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC). Rebecca has served children with special needs as an instructional assistant, an ABA therapist, a special education teacher, behavior consultant, child study team member and director of special education.
Rebecca is an expert in evaluating an individual’s academic, communication, social, adaptive, motor and behavioral strengths and weaknesses in order to implement programs, using strategies and modifications, within inclusive and self-contained settings. She is also an expert at assisting parents and educators to be more effective when dealing with the challenges presented by individuals with special needs, and also with implementing programs to help them develop to their greatest potential.
Rebecca has created and implemented programs for individuals with pervasive developmental disorders, including autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. She has also provided training in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Her emphasis is to help individuals reach their maximum potential in the areas of academics, communication, social, adaptive, play, leisure and work related skills.
Rebecca is also an assistive technology expert and has been very successful using the IPAD and Dynavox in order to assist with the development of communication, social and academic skills.
